National Progress Reports in Agrometeorology

The WMO Secretariat prepared and circulated a detailed questionnaire for the preparation of National Reports on Progress Made in Agricultural Meteorology by Members per Recommendation 1 of CAgM-XIV. In accordance with this recommendation, the WMO Secretariat will continue to compile the information in a comprehensive database to make it available to members.

France STICS prairie développé par l’INRA et utilisé en opérationnel par Météo-France dans le cadre de l’Information et le Suivi Objectif des Prairies à la demande du Ministère de l’Agriculture et étudier l’impact des changements climatiques sur la productivité des prairies.

ISBA (Interaction Sol Biosphère Atmosphère) développé par Météo-France : schéma intégré dans le modèle de prévision numérique ARPEGE.

Le schéma ISBA couplé à un modèle hydrologique MODCOU est utilisé à titre expérimental en hydrologie sur certains bassins versants. Il devrait être opérationnel sur la France à échéance de 2 ans.

A noter que le Service de la Protection des Végétaux utilisent de nombreux modèles sur différentes cultures : pour le blé (rouille brune, septoriose, piétin-vers, rouille jaune), pour la vigne (mildiou, Eudémis, Cochylis, Oïdium), pour l’arboriculture (Carpocapse du pommier, tavelure du pommier, Carposcapse du prunier, tavelure du mirabellier), pour les grandes cultures (Phomopsis du tournesol, Sclerotinia du colza, mildiou de la pomme de terre, pyrale du maïs, Sésamie du maïs), …
